This role sits within the structures of Macmillan Polska, part of the Springer Nature Group.

The position is responsible for coordinating the planning, development and delivery of digital learning components (e‑learning) for ELT courses published by Macmillan Poland, in line with agreed schedules, budgets and quality standards.

It combines digital project coordination responsibilities with hands-on digital content production and editorial work. The role requires close collaboration with Publishing, Digital, Marketing and Sales teams, as well as with external suppliers and freelancers. While the role includes ownership of project delivery and coordination of people and resources, it does not constitute a formal line management position.

Role Responsibilities

  • Build and manage digital content development schedules, monitor progress and report on project status.
  • Support the preparation of digital content delivery budgets through accurate cost estimation, and monitor spend throughout the project cycle.
  • Lead a small in‑house team of Digital Content Editors and coordinate external suppliers to ensure on‑time, on‑budget delivery.
  • Optimise internal and external resources to mitigate capacity challenges and maintain efficient workflows.
  • Collaborate closely with Sales and Marketing teams to ensure alignment with evolving market needs.
  • Recommend improvements to workflows, development processes, and delivery models.
  • Support Digital Content Editors in briefing, monitoring, and liaising with third‑party suppliers and freelance contributors to maintain quality and schedules.
  • Produce assigned digital content according to schedule, budget, internal guidelines, and quality standards.
Maintain consistent application of house style across all digital components.
  • Ensure accurate and consistent metadata and create metadata/tagging templates as needed.

Experience, Skills & Qualifications

Essential

  • Degree in ELT, education, digital technology, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of instructional design principles and understanding of what makes effective digital learning activities.
  • Experience developing e‑learning tools or platforms and/or strong familiarity with digital learning environments.
  • Excellent written and spoken English.
  • Experience in planning schedules and managing projects.
  • Teaching experience in English is a strong advantage.

Desirable

  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage tight schedules under pressure.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Experience managing suppliers or freelancers.
  • Experience acting as a team leader or mentor.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and problem‑solve effectively.
  • Positive attitude and commitment to team goals.

To apply, please submit a CV and a cover letter in English outlining your key ambitions for the role, including your notice period.
