Your Role and Responsibilities

Job Summary:

The Laboratory Technician will safely support product development and/or technical service of customers by doing general lab work including preparation and testing of materials.

Job Description:

  • Safely perform physical testing of chemicals/ingredients.
  • Provide quality testing, sampling, analysis, formulation, characterization to ensure quality/standards are being met.
  • Document quality activities to prove a record of quality compliance efforts.
  • Maintains cleanliness of the lab as well as other routine laboratory tasks.
  • Maintains cleanliness of the lab as well as other routine laboratory tasks.
  • Provide quality testing, sampling, analysis, formulation, characterization to ensure quality/standards are being met
  • Conducts quality control testing and recertification of products as necessary
  • Produces document(s) to communicate lab results
  • Participates in joint sales calls and conference calls with sales representatives at customers
  • Participates in principal/vendor visits and conference calls to present lab findings and recommendations.
  • Other duties assigned

Your Profile 

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or related field or commensurate of education and experience.
  • One year of laboratory experience preferred

  • Proven time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Self-motivated and task oriented
