Performs all duties in strict accordance with company safety and environmental policies.
Coordinate deliveries to maximize truck capacity and efficiency.
Check delivery tickets for changes or mistakes.
Dispatch drivers providing complete instructions.
Confer with sales, shipping, warehouse, or common carrier personnel to expedite or trace missing or delayed shipments.
Monitors Drivers’ DOT hours.
Maintains ELD system, corrects errors and retrieves daily reports.
Evaluate Drivers’ performance.
Submit completed BOL's to the appropriate CSR; create milk-run BOL's.
Serve as back up in unloading inbound freight when a Driver is unavailable.
Assist the Facility Manager in the day to day matters of the facility.
Check inventory control and notify the Facility Manager of orders that would deplete stock.
Perform order double checks.
Related duties as assigned.
Ability to communicate effectively with others. Better than average written and spoken communication skills.
Ability to making critically analyze, problem solve and offer solutions.
Available to be on-call after hours, weekends and holidays.
Perform each essential duty successfully.
