Job Description

The Quality Data Supervisor is responsible for the oversight of Valley Health System quality data analysis and reporting to assist in the decision-making processes for Boards, administration, management, physicians and service lines. The Quality Data Supervisor will serve as an expert resource within Valley Health System for clinical outcomes by facility, service lines, clinical diagnosis or procedure and publicly reported data. The Quality Data Supervisor provides support to the Quality & Patient Safety leadership team by ensuring the effective and timely delivery of information. This position is responsible for the leadership of the Healthcare Quality Data Analysts across the organization. Additionally, this role is responsible for the management and oversight of the provider quality incentive programs, support of the ongoing professional practice evaluations in collaboration with Medical Staff Affairs. This role requires high levels of collaboration, coordination, and communication with various other data teams across Valley Health.

Education

Bachelor’s degree is required.

Master’s degree is preferred.

Experience

Five years data analysis and information management experience is required.


Two years data analysis in healthcare setting is required.


Two years leadership experience is required.

Qualifications

Analytical and interpretive skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amount of information with attention to detail and accuracy required.


Excellent organizational skills, including ability to manage multiple, complex projects simultaneously with changing schedule required.


Effective oral and written presentations skills required.


Ability to prepare concise written reports for variety of audiences required.


Independent thinker with problem-solving aptitude and drive for further analysis required.


Ability to work effectively in a team environment required.


Ability to effectively communicate at all levels of the organization (administration, physicians, executive directors, and staff) required.
