Cabrillo Pet Hospital is looking for multiple personable, friendly Kennel and Pet Store Assistants to join our team! This is a great, entry level opportunity to gain experience in all aspects of pet care, grooming, day camp, and pet nutrition. Both Part-Time and Full-Time positions available! 

·      Salary: $17.50 – 22 per hour depending on experience and education 

·      Schedule: Full-time, Four or Five 8-hour shifts. Part-time, flexible scheduling available.  Weekends and Holidays Required.  

·      Location: 4134 Voltaire St, San Diego, CA 92107

Who You Are:  

If you have a professional, friendly personality and love to help pets, you will fit right in with our team!  

·                  Experience working in customer service, sales position preferred 

·                  Using a cash register, cash handling experience (POS system) 

·                  Positive attitude is a must! 

·                  Experience working and caring for animals preferred 

·                  Comfortable in large groups of dogs 

·                  Able to safely handle cats 

·                  Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills 

·                  Very detail-oriented  

·                  Ensure a clean, safe and organized work environment 

·                  Willing to work at least 2 weekends per month, and some holidays 

·                  Reliable transportation with the ability to be called in to work as needed 

·                  Ability to lift up to 50lbs, be exposed to cats and dogs for long periods of time
