Sr Director - Chief Information Security Officer (CISO)

Job Summary


Hospitality Solutions is seeking a visionary and strategic Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) to lead and evolve our enterprise-wide information security program. This role is critical in safeguarding our digital assets, ensuring compliance, and fostering a robust security culture across all operations.

Job Responsibilities

As the Sr Director - Chief Information Security Officer, you will be responsible for:

Strategic Security Leadership: Developing, implementing, and overseeing a comprehensive information security strategy aligned with business objectives and regulatory requirements.

Risk Management: Identifying, assessing, and mitigating information security risks across the organization, including defining and implementing risk management frameworks.
Security Architecture & Engineering: Guiding the design, implementation, and maintenance of secure systems and applications, leveraging expertise in areas like Systems Architecture and Development Frameworks.
Security Operations: Overseeing incident response, vulnerability management, and security monitoring, ensuring timely detection and remediation of threats.
Compliance & Governance: Ensuring adherence to relevant security standards, regulations (e.g., GDPR, PCI DSS), and internal policies.
Cloud Security: Leading the secure adoption and management of cloud platforms, particularly Google Cloud Platform (GCP), with a focus on Cloud Scalability and security best practices.
DevSecOps Integration: Championing the integration of security into the CI/CD pipeline and DevOps practices, working closely with engineering teams.
Team Leadership & Development: Building, mentoring, and leading a high-performing information security team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
Vendor Security Management: Establishing and managing security requirements for third-party vendors and partners.
Security Awareness & Training: Developing and delivering security awareness programs for all employees.
Budget Management: Managing the information security budget and resources effectively.

Job Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

Proven track record of at least 15 years in information security leadership roles, with at least 5 years in senior leadership position in a global enterprise.
Technical Acumen - Deep understanding and hands-on experience with:

CI/CD & DevOps: Integrating security into continuous integration/continuous deployment pipelines and modern development practices.
Cloud Security: Architecting and securing solutions on cloud platforms, with strong expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Cloud Scalability.
Operating Systems: Proficiency with Linux and Unix environments.
Scripting & Computer Programming: Ability to understand and contribute to security automation and tool development.
Systems Architecture & Site Reliability Engineering: A strong grasp of designing resilient and reliable systems from a security perspective.
Infrastructure Management (IM): Experience in securing and managing large-scale IT infrastructure.
Strategic & Analytical Skills: Ability to translate complex security concepts into business-relevant terms, develop strategic roadmaps, and make data-driven decisions.
Leadership & Communication: Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
Risk Management Expertise: Demonstrated ability to identify, assess, and mitigate complex information security risks.
Compliance Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of various security frameworks, regulations, and industry best practices.
IT Business Analysis: Ability to align security initiatives with business objectives and demonstrate value.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field. Master's degree and relevant security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, C|CISO) are highly desirable.
