GEAR UP FOR YOUR ROLE:
As a Staff Accountant at Team Car Care, you will play a crucial role in supporting the financial operations of our business with a focus on facilities and compliance-related expenses. We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated individual with 1-3 years of accounting experience who can help us process and maintain accurate financial records, analyze financial data, and ensure compliance with approximately 400+ locations. 

HOW YOU WILL DRIVE SUCCESS:

  • Process and manage rent and property tax payments accurately and timely
  • Oversee and manage utility payments, ensuring timely and accurate processing
  • Perform account reconciliations to ensure the accuracy of financial transactions
  • Manage month end close activities including identifying and accounting for accruals to meet deadlines and perform accurately
  • Support compliance functions related to property management and taxation
  • Maintain relationships with landlords and utility providers, ensuring compliance with all contractual obligations
  • Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to help management understand financial trends and impacts
  • Other duties as requested that assist Team Car Care in meeting its goals

UNDER THE HOOD – WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred. 
  • 1-3 years of accounting experience, preferably in a similar role. 
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel. 
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy. 
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills. 
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and regulations. 
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills. 
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
