JOB PURPOSE: Students will support research on innovative projects and topics. 

SUPERVISORY AUTHORITY: None 

NATURE AND SCOPE: Internal contacts include RITA HQ Team and the entire Howard University community. External contacts include as directed.  

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:  

  • Perform advanced experiments related to Project TO2.1 

  • Participate in regular meetings discussing Project TO2.1 

  • Present on involvement with Project TO2.1  

  • Contribute towards journal paper per academic year 

 

CORE COMPETENCIES:  

  • Ability to learn new research techniques 

  • Strong computer skills 

  • Strong research skills 

 

 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: 

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills 

  • Self-motivation 

  • 1 year of relevant work experience
