BASIC FUNCTIONS:
The purpose of this position is to provide pedagogical, administrative, and research training and support for a Research Fellow in the School or College through including, but not limited to (a) academic career development, (b) development of health services to underserved populations (c) cultural competence. The Neuropsychopharmacology Laboratory at Howard University is seeking a postdoctoral fellow with data science expertise, interested in health disparities research. his work will contribute to precision medicine approaches to brain health. There is opportunity for collaboration with computer engineering, geneticists, and clinician colleagues. The ideal candidate will identify new research questions associated with brain health and disease, as it relates to the unique circumstances of underserved populations. The postdoc will be involved in enhancing the direction of clinical translational research conducted in the laboratory and will be expected to distribute their work to the scientific community through presentations and print.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Applicants should have received, by the activation date of the postdoctoral fellowship, a Ph.D. (or similar doctoral degree such as MD, Pharm.D., Sc.D., DrPH, etc.) in one of the following disciplines: Neuroscience or data science related field.
