JOB PURPOSE:
Perform original research at the intersection of AI/ML and cybersecurity, and disseminate the findings through publications in leading conferences (e.g., NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR, AAAI, USENIX Security, IEEE S&P, NDSS) and top-tier journals (e.g., IEEE TAI, ACM TOPML)

NATURE AND SCOPE:
The Research Scientist (Postdoc) at Howard University will assist with the execution of the project and will commit full time (40 hours) per week to the project and publish in high impact conferences such as NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR, AAAI, USENIX Security, IEEE S&P, NDSS, etc. and journals such as IEEE TAI, ACM TOPML, etc.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

. The tasks of the Research Scientist (Postdoc) include the following:
CORE COMPETENCIES:
The candidate must have his/her Ph.D. degree before joining Howard University and should have adequate research experience demonstrated through publications in top-tier international conferences or journals, or patents in the areas of cybersecurity, AI and machine learning for autonomous systems.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Applicants should have received a Ph.D. (or similar doctoral degree) in one of the following disciplines:
Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, mathematics, or a similar area.
