Job Description
Transporter is responsible for patient transport by stretcher, wheelchair or cookie chair to designated locations throughout the facility. Upon request, transports medications with patients and connects patients to O2, if needed.
EducationHigh School Diploma or equivalent required
Certification & LicensuresBLS Certification (Basic Life Support) - American Heart ‘Healthcare Provider’ (HCP) - AHA approved required *
BCLS training provided
QualificationsPrevious healthcare experience preferred Ability to transport patients in wheelchairs, stretchers or cookie chairs required Ability to stand or walk for periods of time required Ability to use handheld electronic devices/computers required Excellent documentation skills required Excellent verbal communication skills required Ability to provide excellent customer service required
