Job Description

The Communication System Analyst is responsible for overall coordination of support activities for all Communication Management Systems, providing development and implementation support for automated communication systems. The Communication System Analyst will interface with many different positions within the I.T. Team, as well as customers, physicians, staff, and vendors, as the primary support person. The Communication System Analyst will guide users in formulating requirements, advise alternate approaches, and provide technical guidance for on-going system maintenance and upgrades. The Communication System Analyst will provide knowledge transfer, perform documentation as needed for processes, and end-user training, and troubleshoot problems associated with supported applications. The Communication System Analyst will aid in capacity, availability, security, and business continuity management efforts. The Communication System Analyst will direct and/or aid in testing, formulating test plans, transferring and verifying directory databases into production and generating reports.

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field required or obtain within 24 months of hire.

Certification & Licensure

Industry certification is required within (9) months of hire.

Qualifications

Strong organizational, analytical, and exceptional communication skills required.

Program and device configuration experience preferred.

Medical terminology required.

Knowledge of Crystal reports and SQL preferred.
