• Level 2: Estimated Pay $21.15(minimum) - $27.40(midpoint) - $33.65(maximum) Plus shift differential and overtime

• Level 3: Estimated Pay $25.00(minimum) - $32.69(midpoint) - $39.90(maximum) Plus shift differential and overtime

Woodward, located in Loves Park, IL, is hiring a 1st shift, All Weekend Shift Operations Technician (Friday-Sunday, 3:00 AM - 3:30 PM) to support our B300 CNC machines at the Loves Park Campus. In this role, you'll be responsible for producing aerospace parts and components. Key Responsibilities: 

• Operations: Follows documented procedures, solves problems with known outcomes to meet standards, supports training of other members, and provides improvement opportunities to standard work. Flexes and supports the full product line in various processes/ capacities. 

• Process: Maintains key process variables to ensure consistency and quality in operations. Accurately logs daily operations and resolves or escalates concerns. Follows standard operating procedures. Supports training of other members. Provides improvement opportunities to standard work. 

• Quality Control: Participates to improve clarity and accuracy in documented processes and procedures. 

• Organization & Cleanliness: Proactively applies 5S principles, identifies opportunities to improve workstation organization and cleanliness, and ensures compliance with team standards. Assists in implementing new organizational practices as directed.

Successful candidates typically have:

Level II:  

• Previous CNC machining experience preferred 

• Extensive mechanical aptitude is highly beneficial 

• GD&T experience highly desired  

Level III: 

• 3 or more years of experience within a manufacturing setting desired 

• Previous CNC machining experience preferred 

• Extensive mechanical aptitude is highly beneficial 

• GD&T experience highly desired
