The Sr. Analyst, Workday HCM will work with all HR functional areas to improve ways of working in workday HCM and other HR systems providing both analytical, configuration, and troubleshooting support to functional areas.Areas of focus:
• Workday Compensation: Expertise in advanced compensation, merit, bonus, and stock administration functionality.
• Workday Recruiting: Expertise in the recruiting lifecycle, with a strong understanding of cross-module dependencies

POSITION SUMMARY:
- The Sr. Analyst, Workday HCM will work with all HR functional areas to improve ways of working in workday HCM and other HR systems providing both analytical, configuration, and troubleshooting support to functional areas.
- Lead configuration, maintenance, and optimization of Workday HCM for 2 or more SKUs (Recruiting, Core HCM, Compensation, Benefits, Talent, Learning, Payroll, Absence, Time Tracking, VNDLY, and Peakon).
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Be part of the team responsible for the business configuration and maintenance of the Workday HR Systems supporting internal employees as well as other downstream systems and processes. (i.e. security maintenance, business process configuration, tenant configuration, data loads, and upgrades)
- Translate and document non-technical requirements into technical concepts with a comprehensive understanding of HR applications and technical interdependencies.
- Exercise good judgment in use of standards and technical documentation. Identify and include associated controls.
- Identify opportunities to scale efficiencies and ways of working for HR teams with various technological solutions (Workday HCM, Office 365 Workflows, Monday.com, etc.)
- Analyze, solutions design and develop, deliver product and post-production migration support of functional modifications and enhancements to Workday and other HR systems/tools.
- Serve as the primary Workday liaison for your assigned COE, building strong partnerships with HR leaders to translate business needs into system solutions.
- Design, test, and deploy enhancements, integrations, and business process updates; provide post-production support to ensure stability and adoption.
- Identify and implement opportunities to improve efficiency, automation, and data quality across HR processes and systems.
- Stay ahead of Workday releases. Evaluate new features, recommend adoption strategies, and ensure readiness across your functional area.
- Maintain system integrity through ongoing audits, configuration documentation, and adherence to governance controls.
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners and vendors to deliver scalable, compliant, and high-quality solutions.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, human resources, or related field required; Bachelor’s degree in computer science, human resources, or related field preferred
- Experience (years and type of experience): 3 years’ experience with Workday HCM required; 3+ years’ experience with Workday HCM preferred
- Certification(s): None required; Workday Pro or HCM Certification strongly preferred
- License(s): None required; None preferred
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
- Comprehensive understanding of all Workday HCM modules including core, payroll, benefits, compensation, performance, etc.
- High attention to detail, ability to communicate effectively across a variety of audiences, and strength in organizational agility
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work under minimal supervision at detailed levels
- Able to motivate potentially large and diverse teams from across the business and external stakeholders and create effective teams

TECHNICAL, COMPUTER, AND SYSTEM-SPECIFIC SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Ability to learn any other appropriate program or software system used by the firm as necessary
