The President will lead, coach, and develop senior leaders to drive revenue growth and high client satisfaction. They will implement policies, projects, and change initiatives, set challenging goals, and accurately forecast revenue streams. The President will create effective measurement tools and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders while coordinating resources for efficient results.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Lead, coach and develop high-performance senior leaders Inspires loyalty and commitment necessary to maintain motivated, productive, and expert business development and advisory teams. Identify opportunities to leverage cross-strengths or strategic affiliations to take advantage of new opportunities and/or address organizational challenges. Apply a mixture of quantitative, networking, and leadership skills to drive a culture of exploration, opportunity creation and continuous improvement. Maintains positive relationships to effectively serve as a brand ambassador in the community with all stakeholders internally and externally, including clients and prospective clients as well as insurance company partners Implement policies, projects and change initiatives to produce revenue growth and high client retention and satisfaction Execute and formulate all business development policies, practices, and procedures Implement processes to produce sustainable revenue growth. Create effective measurement tools to gauge the efficiency and effectiveness of internal and external processes. Help ensure high levels of client service and satisfaction by identifying and communicating opportunities to improve ongoing service delivery and business development methods Set challenging and realistic goals for growth, performance, and profitability. Attend leadership meetings to provide specialist guidance. Ensure consistent, profitable growth in revenue through positive planning, deployment and management of business development colleagues while identifying objectives, strategies, and action plans to improve short and long-term sales and earnings Accurately forecasts annual, quarterly, and monthly revenue streams Provides quarterly results & assessments of business development productivity. Coordinates proper firm resources to ensure efficient and stable results. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES: Ability to measure, analyze and drive key performance indicators. Possesses highly analytical mindset and has profound knowledge of how to use metrics and data to support effective sales behavior. Ability to consult on complex business development strategies and solutions. Technical knowledge of insurance industry operations and processes. Excellent communication skills, both oral and written. Problem-solves and actively seeks out and supports collaborative thinking and problem solving with others in the organization. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: Bachelor’s Degree required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred 15 years’ experience in the insurance industry required; 15+ years’ experience in the insurance industry preferred Proven track record of effectively leading a service-oriented organization with the ability to leverage strengths across the firm and make complex decisions. Experience in strategic planning and execution including a verifiable track record and examples of these results. Successful track record building, managing, developing, and retaining high performing business development teams. Experience in formulating policy, and developing and implementing new strategies and procedures Demonstrates the organization’s core values, exuding behavior that is aligned with the firm’s cultureCurrent P&C license as required by the State Department of Insurance to effectively service clients or be willing and able to obtain all required licenses
