Job Description Summary:
The New Directions Asst Clinical Director is responsible for planning, implementing, operating, and evaluating all New Directions services consistent with the policies of the Board of Directors as interpreted by the Director. They provide services to individuals impacted by a variety of behavioral health (addiction/substance use and mental health) issues, recognizing the individuals we serve often have experienced trauma that affects their development and adjustment. They demonstrate a warm and welcoming empathic, hopeful attitude, conveying a philosophy of dual recovery. They will be trained in trauma-informed care and will work to help provide services in an environment that is sensitive and responsive which will prevent victimization, abuse, or trauma as a result of the care received.
Education:
Master’s degree in psychology or social work field with ability for state licensure.
Or, met the criteria for Certification as a Certified Reciprocal Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CRAADC
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior supervisory experience with SUD treatment teams, management and leadership training, and obtained the Clinical Supervisor Training certification through the Missouri Credentialing Board.
