The Director, Financial Planning & Analysis will report to the Vice President of FP&A. This successful candidate will act as a strategic financial partner to the VP of FP&A and CFO, and will also work with our Private Equity owners, Waud Capital, as well as our lender partners. The successful candidate will be tasked with charting and supporting the company’s growth agenda, and ensuring that FP&A, and Finance in general, has the right processes and analytics in place to allow the business to scale. They will provide best in class performance management, including reporting, business reviews, forecasting, and early warning signals of future risks and opportunities. Importantly, the Director FP&A will manage, one teammate. The successful candidate will exhibit strong communication skills, and the ability to synthesize and communicate results to both business partners, and executive levels. They will partner with Accounting through the close process to ensure accurate financials and will perform financial reporting/analysis at both regular and ad hoc frequencies, serving as a subject matter expert on various initiatives. Job Description:
While this position offers remote flexibility, we have a strong preference for candidates who can work in a hybrid capacity from our White Plains, NY office. Remote candidates located in EST/CST will also be considered.
Responsibilities include
Develop and inspire the FP&A team
Ensure best in class, scaled performance management processes are in place to maximize results
Own the modelling and materials for successful Operating Reviews and Board Meetings
Own Ivy’s internal forecasting models, as well as financial reporting obligations (internally, to the company’s private equity sponsor, and to the company’s lenders)
Analysis of trends in the business both at the Corporate and Clinic level, interpreting and communicating trends to the executive leadership team
Run the annual budget and annual long-term planning processes
Manage the close process in partnership with the Accounting team and lead monthly close meeting with CFO.
Qualifications
At least 8 years of Finance experience required. Business analytics & financial forecasting experience required.
Minimum BS/BA in a business-related field(marketing/finance/operations); MBA highly preferred
Ability to lead a team, providing regular feedback and coaching, and ensuring the team is engaged and motivated
Advanced Excel, strong modeling, and PowerPoint skills required; Business Intelligence software proficiency preferred
Ability to analyze business trends and be able to successfully present them in a meaningful and articulate fashion
Healthcare experience preferred, including familiarity with Revenue Cycle
Proven analytical, critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and quantitative abilities
Highly skilled in diplomacy, influencing and collaborating in decision making process across all levels of the organization
Ownership/results/accountability-oriented, able to overcome obstacles
Expert project management skills
Self-motivated with the willingness and commitment to exceed expectations, learn and professionally grow
Outstanding time management skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and assignments in a changing environment with competing projects

Compensation ranges up to $195,000.00 based on experience.
