Job Summary - PARSEC
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various types of vehicles and machinery. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical systems, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. The Mechanic will ensure that all equipment operates efficiently and safely, contributing to the overall success of our operations.

Duties

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on vehicles and machinery, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems.
  • Diagnose mechanical issues using diagnostic tools and equipment.
  • Conduct inspections to identify potential problems before they become major issues.
  • Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed.
  • Collaborate with other mechanics and staff to ensure timely completion of repairs.
  • Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean working environment.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in automotive technology.

Skills

  • Strong mechanical aptitude with experience in automotive or machinery repair.
  • Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Good communication skills for effective collaboration with team members.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations related to mechanical work is a plus.
  • Hydraulics experience is an asset.
  • Strong electrical trouble shooting experience needed.
  • Heavy equipment mechanic experience needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35.00-$40.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
