Please Note: This position follows a hybrid work model and requires regular on-site presence at our West Des Moines, Iowa office. Candidates must currently reside in the Des Moines metro area or be able to reliably commute. We are unable to offer relocation assistance or employment sponsorship for this role.
Job Summary:
The Financial Information Systems Analyst works to support and maintain Wright Service Corporation’s financial systems. This position is responsible for serving as a liaison between departments and vendors regarding system design and implementation of various projects.
Essential Job Duties:
Work with internal stakeholders from Finance, Accounting, IT, or other stakeholders to support the Workday Financial Platform
Troubleshoot and resolve financial systems production support issues timely and with exceptional customer service
Support day-to-day operations for tier 1 and 2 support items
Continual analysis, maintenance, configuration, and troubleshooting of the Workday Financial Systems
Develop, create, and/or maintain reports for Finance Administrators and other financial business users
Ensure thorough documentation of requirements, conceptual design, and end-to-end processes
Assist with system enhancement to the end-user experience
Support Workday Financial Systems upgrades, patches, testing, and other technical projects as assigned
Load mass transactions through the use of EIBs
Maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information
Support, actively participate and act in accordance with Wright’s culture of safety and employee ownership
Comply with applicable federal, state and local laws, rules and regulations; maintain knowledge of and follow all company policies and procedures
Maintain regular and punctual attendance at work and meetings

Ability to collaborate closely with functional stakeholders, end users, and leads on configurations and solutions within Workday Financial Systems

Business area knowledge with an understanding of financial processes and data
Must have a thorough knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

Must have a willingness to participate in company-supported training as needed
Must maintain a high level of professionalism with corporate office, field employees, claimants and other external contacts
Ability to read, write, and speak English sufficient to perform job duties and to interact and communicate with employees and vendors
Education, Certification & Experience Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in IT, Systems, or Finance or equivalent experience
1-3 years of experience working with Workday Financial Systems
Previous experience on projects during design, configure/build, implement, and stabilization phases
