Wooded Glen Recovery Center is seeking a dedicated Outpatient Director to join our leadership team in Henryville, Indiana. This is an opportunity to guide a passionate team, shape program strategy, and ensure the highest standards of care for individuals on their path to recovery.

PURPOSE STATEMENT:

The Director of the Outpatient Services provides the leadership and strategic planning of the outpatient programs offered at the facility including the direction, management and supervision of day-to-day operations of the clinical programming and the clinical staff for the partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient program, ensuring programs meet the client needs, the facility's performance goals and objectives, and regulatory standards. Responsibilities include outpatient program development, family programing, oversight of the outpatient therapists, integrative therapies and client engagement.

What You’ll Do

As the Outpatient Director, you’ll provide both hands-on and strategic leadership across our treatment programs — ensuring our services are clinically sound, compliant, and life-changing for those we serve.


Key responsibilities include:
- Overseeing all aspects of clinical programming, treatment planning, and service delivery.
- Leading, mentoring, and developing a high-performing clinical team through coaching, training, and accountability.
- Ensuring all documentation, programming, and outcomes meet facility and regulatory standards.
- Partnering with leadership to set and achieve departmental goals, manage budgets, and implement new initiatives.
- Conducting audits, reviewing treatment plans, and providing clinical consultation to ensure quality and consistency.
- Collaborating across departments to coordinate care and maintain strong relationships with referral partners and community providers.

What You Bring

Education & Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Nursing, or a related therapeutic field (required).

  • 4+ years of clinical experience working directly with patients in behavioral health or addiction treatment settings.

  • 2+ years of leadership or supervisory experience preferred.

Skills & Expertise:

  • Strong clinical assessment and treatment planning skills.

  • Proven ability to motivate and guide teams toward shared goals.

  • In-depth knowledge of social work principles, behavioral health best practices, and applicable regulatory standards.

Licensure & Certifications:

  • Active clinical license (LMHC, LCSW, LMFT, LCAC, etc.) required.

  • CPR and de-escalation training (offered upon hire).

  • First Aid as required by state/facility.
