The Therapist III is a part of the multidisciplinary team responsible for providing direct clinical services to clients and their families by diagnosing and treating mental and emotional disorders, whether cognitive, affective, or behavioral. Completes Psychosocial Assessments; providing individual, group and family therapy for clients; facilitating psycho-educational training, family meetings, discharge planning; assisting in program development; developing, implementing, and reviewing Treatment Plans; and providing linkage to outside resources.

Education & Experience Requirements

• Master’s Degree required in Social Work, Counseling, or Psychology

• Active Indiana licensure: LCSW, LMHC, LMFT, or LCAC

What You’ll Do in This Role

As a Therapist at Anabranch, you’ll play a vital part in helping clients heal, grow, and build sustainable recovery.

• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments and establish initial discharge plans

• Develop, implement, and adjust individualized treatment plans

• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy

• Utilize evidence-based psychotherapeutic interventions for emotional + behavioral disorders

• Participate in multidisciplinary treatment team meetings & present relevant case updates

• Maintain an organized clinical caseload and ensure timely documentation

• Lead or develop specialty therapy groups/program modules

• Coordinate safe, structured after-care and discharge plans

• Provide crisis intervention to clients and families in acute distress

• Connect clients with essential community resources (housing, legal, financial, spiritual support, etc.)

• Offer case management and ongoing care coordination

• Assist with training new staff/interns and supporting staff education as needed

• Evaluate client needs and make referrals to appropriate programs or facilities
