Wooded Glen Recovery Center is a beautiful, peaceful residential treatment campus dedicated to helping individuals on their recovery journey. We are looking for a skilled, hands-on Maintenance Technician who takes pride in creating a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for our clients, staff, and visitors.Roles and Responsibilities:
What We’re Looking For
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Two years of experience in facility maintenance or operations (healthcare experience preferred).
Certifications/licenses in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, or other trades are highly valued.
Valid driver’s license (if required by state/facility).

What You’ll Do
As our Maintenance Technician, you’ll play a key role in keeping the facility safe, functional, and operating smoothly. Daily responsibilities include:
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on facility equipment, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, painting, and mechanical systems.
Complete work orders, address hazard reports promptly, and communicate any urgent safety issues to the Director immediately.
Maintain all equipment, tools, and work areas in clean and orderly condition.
Conduct preventative maintenance and keep accurate documentation.
Inspect and maintain emergency power systems, test generators weekly, and ensure fire alarms, smoke detectors, fire doors, and extinguishers meet safety standards.
Assist with fire and disaster preparedness drills.
Support parking lot, sidewalk, lawn, and landscaping upkeep as needed.
Prepare rooms and arrange furniture for facility activities and meetings.
Repair or refinish furniture and fixtures throughout the facility.
Assist with client transportation when requested.
Work with outside vendors and contractors as assigned.
Participate in on-call rotation and work occasional weekends.
