Job Title: Maggi Pocket Hole Drill Operator

Department: Production/Mill

Reports To: Area Coordinator

Position Summary:

The Maggi Pocket Hole Drill Operator is responsible for operating, setting up, and maintaining Maggi pocket hole drilling machinery used in the production of MDF cabinet components. This position ensures precise drilling operations that meet quality standards and support efficient assembly of cabinet kits.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Operate Maggi pocket hole drilling machines to produce accurate and consistent holes in MDF components according to specifications.

Monitor machine operation, ensuring correct alignment, depth, and spacing of holes throughout the production process.

Inspect finished components for accuracy, quality, and compliance with specifications using appropriate measuring tools.

Identify and report any material defects, equipment issues, or quality concerns to the Area Coordinator or Quality Assurance Coordinator.

Perform basic machine maintenance, including cleaning, lubrication, and tool changes.

Maintain accurate documentation of production counts, downtime, and quality checks as required.

Follow all company safety procedures, including the use of PPE and lockout/tagout protocols.

Support continuous improvement efforts to enhance safety, quality, and efficiency.

Conduct business in a way that aligns with company core values and promotes a positive team culture.

Qualifications:

Experience operating Maggi pocket hole drilling machines or similar woodworking equipment preferred.

Knowledge of MDF materials and cabinet manufacturing processes.

Ability to read a tape measurer.

Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain precision in repetitive tasks.

Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
