Job Description:
The functions listed below are those that represent the majority of the time spent working in this position. Management may assign additional functions related to the type of work of the position as necessary.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:
Requires graduation from an accredited Law School and admitted to the practice of law in the State of Texas supplemented by two (2) years of litigation experience.
We are looking for felony prosecutors with all levels of experience. Prosecutors in our office are responsible for intake evaluation, grand jury preparation, and prosecution through trial of assigned cases. In our office, you will have the opportunity to work with a group of career prosecutors and manage your own docket with all levels of felonies.
We are looking for prosecutors who enjoy working with a team and having the freedom to make decisions in the handling of their case load. Our office provides the resources for you to succeed, with benefits including your yearly CLE, state bar dues and membership to both TDCAA and NDAA.
We prefer a prosecutor with a minimum of two years felony experience as a prosecutor, or equivalent. Like all offices, you need to be licensed by the State of Texas and in good standing with the State Bar of Texas.
