Note: Positions requires up to 32 hours per week with scheduling flexibility based on business need (days, nights, weekends and holidays).
What it takes to succeed:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Must have a valid driver's license.
- At least 18 years of age or older.
- Environmental, Health, or Safety related experience preferred.
- Have working knowledge of computers and applicable software i.e., MS Excel, Word, and Power Point.
- Experience generating technical reports and presenting information to direct superiors
- Willingness to train safety related topics to other departments
- Have strong analytical aptitude, working knowledge of computers, strong communication and organizational skills, and the ability to handle multiple and varied tasks in a team environment.
- Be physically able to walk distances, bend, and lift objects of various weights.
- Provide excellent service to guests and ambassadors.
- Be able to stand, walk, and work for prolonged periods of time in extreme weather conditions.
- Be willing to work a flexible schedule to include weekdays, weekends, evenings, and holidays
- Consistently practices safe work habits including, but not limited to the use of personal protective equipment, lifting and reporting of unsafe situations
- Be able to successfully complete all legal, company and department training requirements to include but not limited to passing required tests and certifications within established timelines.
- Theme Park experience is preferred but not required.
What you get to do:
- Conduct General Liability and Employee Accident Investigations; input all required information into database and maintain associated files
- Respond to guest and employee accidents, act as park safety liaison, and consistently demonstrate courteous and professional behavior for all guest interface
- Handle confidential information with care
- Assist in production of technical reports that highlight general liability performance and identify risk trends. Presents these findings to leadership and helps in developing action plans-
- Assist with EHS inspections to ensure compliance with local, state, Federal and SEA guidelines
- Assists with other duties as assigned
- Attend safety meetings as required.
Compensation: $14.50 per hour
