SeaWorld San Diego is seeking Dancers for our upcoming seasonal events, including Lunar New Year, Mardi Gras, and Viva La Música! We are looking for high-energy, technically strong, and expressive performers to bring these festivals to life through choreography, cultural celebration, and vibrant entertainment.
Skilled and versatile dancers with strong technique, musicality, and performance presence. Styles may include commercial jazz, hip hop, Latin styles, festival-inspired choreography, and high-energy movement. Dancers will perform in stage shows, street performances, parades, and special event entertainment.

Be prepared to learn and perform multiple short combinations in a variety of styles.
Wear form-fitting dance attire and appropriate footwear (jazz shoes, sneakers, or dance-ready shoes).
Be prepared for across-the-floor movement, choreography retention, and style versatility.
Selected dancers may be asked to freestyle or demonstrate specialty skills (optional).
All interested individuals must submit an application prior to attending auditions!
Perform in high-energy dance shows, parades, atmosphere entertainment, and special events.
Represent the park with professionalism, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude.
Accept performance feedback and adapt accordingly.
Execute pre- and post-show backstage duties as assigned.
Work with choreographers, directors, and fellow performers to present polished entertainment.
Assist the Costuming team with basic maintenance tasks as needed.
Positively engage with guests, employees, and other performers.
Perform other duties as assigned.
May support Sesame Place San Diego as needed.
Strong dance technique and ability to pick up choreography quickly.
High stamina and strong performance quality.
Ability to work indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions.
At least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
Ability to accept and apply notes from choreographers and leadership.
Ability to work varying shifts or hours based on park needs.
Previous dance or performance experience required.
Ability to interact positively with guests and coworkers of all ages and backgrounds.
Ability to stand, walk, jump, and dance for prolonged periods.
Audition requirements may include multiple dance styles, stamina testing, and improvisation.
Non-peak seasons: At least 3 days of unrestricted availability, including 1 weekend day.
Peak seasons: At least 4 days of unrestricted availability, including 1 weekend day.
Ability to work opening, mid, and closing shifts, nights, weekends, after-hour rehearsals, and holidays.
Must be able to work in varying weather and temperature extremes.
May be exposed to dust, odors, and cleaning chemicals.
Must be able to kneel, squat, bend, reach overhead, and execute repetitive dance movements.
Must be able to work flexible schedules and locations based on business needs.
Must attend the in-person audition at the scheduled time.
