Position Summary:
The Sky House Busser/Host is the first point of contact for guests, responsible for greeting and seating them in a friendly and efficient manner. They manage reservations, waitlists, and coordinate seating flow to ensure smooth restaurant operations and a positive guest experience. Additionally they support the dining room team by clearing and resetting tables, refilling water, and maintaining cleanliness throughout the restaurant. They help ensure a smooth and efficient dining experience for guests.
Typical shift is 11:00am-4:00pm and must have open availability during weekends and holidays.
Essential Functions and Major Responsibilities:
- Assist by retrieving and placing appropriate tableware, eating utensils and napkins.
- Ensure food is served in accordance with safety standards.
- Remove used plates, glasses, utensils from table after customers are done eating.
- Clean up water spills, food stains and debris from tables.
- Take out trash and recycling.
- Refilling paper napkins, condiments, salt, and pepper shakers.
- Cleaning and bussing both The Nest & Red Hawk Café dining area throughout the shift.
- Must be able to communicate effectively with guests in giving directions and answering questions.

Physical Capabilities- Able to stand or walk for up to 8 hours per shift. Will lift up to 25 lbs. occasionally. Ability to ski or snowboard at an intermediate level is preferred. Exposed to ice/snow coming to and from work.
Additional- Strong attention to detail. Must be capable of managing and performing multiple tasks simultaneously.
