Hourly pay range:   $21.50 - $25.75 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES: 

• Repair and Maintenance of Fan Gun Fleet 

• Maintain and perform preventative maintenance on snowmaking infrastructure 

• Be familiar with “OSHA” codes and protocols and “Lock-Out-Tag Out” procedures 

• Be familiar with “Confined Space” procedures to ensure a safe working environment at all times 

• Able to work in inclement weather 

• Follows established safety procedures and promotes a safe work environment for snowmaking staff 

• Performs all snowmaker duties working side by side with staff 

• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management 

• Can perform physical labor in all outdoor environmental conditions 

• Vehicle operation to include Company trucks, Rangers 

• Follow all departmental sustainability guidelines 

• Perform other duties as assigned  

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: 

• Ability and knowledge to operate basic hand and power tools 

• Knowledge of lock out tag out 

• Strong ability to follow Confined Space Procedures 

• Must be available to work nights, weekends, and holidays 

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: 

• High school diploma or equivalent 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: 

• Ability to withstand high-altitude conditions at all times 

• Ability to use full range of body motion and lift up to 50 lbs. 

• Able to stand, walk, kneel, squat, and crawl throughout a 10-hour shift 

• Ability to visually and audibly inspect for irregularities in machinery 

• Able to climb ladders of Tower Snowguns 

• Ability to perform all job duties at heights with the use of fall protection

WORKING CONDITIONS: 

• This position will work outdoors in a high-alpine environment in all types of weather conditions. Most work is performed around loud machinery sometimes at heights and sometimes in cramped spaces such as a crawl space or machine room. The level of strenuous activity for this role is considered to be high.
