We are currently seeking Memory Care Caregivers to provide high-quality personal care and support to our residents. This role is essential in fostering a warm, respectful, and nurturing environment for individuals living with Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify residents using wristbands/photo cards before treatments or services.

  • Perform only trained and authorized care procedures per facility policy.

  • Assist residents with daily personal care: bathing, grooming, oral hygiene, dressing, toileting, etc.

  • Ensure residents' safety and well-being by checking frequently, especially those unable to call for help.

  • Record and report care, behaviors, incidents, and changes in condition promptly and accurately.

  • Create a welcoming and calm environment upon resident admission or transfer.

  • Maintain resident dignity and confidentiality at all times in accordance with HIPAA.

  • Assist in meal service, hydration, and post-meal hygiene.

  • Use adaptive equipment and provide restorative or rehabilitative support as instructed.

  • Report suspected abuse, neglect, or misappropriation of resident property immediately.

  • Support end-of-life care and post-mortem assistance as needed.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Compassionate, patient, and respectful demeanor

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team

  • Strong observational and communication skills

  • Proficiency in reading, documenting care, and following written/verbal instructions

  • Ability to manage changing resident needs in a fast-paced environment

Education & Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred

  • Previous experience in memory care or senior caregiving strongly preferred

  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)

  • Able to read and write in English; bilingual a plus

  • Must pass background check and health screening

Physical Demands:

  • Frequent walking, standing, bending, and lifting (up to 25 lbs)

  • Use of medical and office equipment (computers, lifts, etc.)

  • Ability to assist with transfers and physical mobility of residents

Work Environment:

  • Calm, respectful memory care setting

  • Low to moderate noise level

  • Regular interaction with residents, families, and interdisciplinary teams

Additional Information:

This position does not have supervisory responsibilities. All employees are expected to follow company policies, uphold confidentiality, and respond promptly to emergencies or resident concerns.
