Position: Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA)

Delta View Post Acute is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant to join our in-house therapy team. The COTA will work under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist to deliver high-quality patient care and contribute to a collaborative, interdisciplinary team.
Key responsibilities:
- Execute and adapt occupational therapy treatment plans as directed by the supervising Occupational Therapist and physician orders.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient evaluations, daily treatments, and progress notes, adhering to all state and regulatory requirements.
- Communicate with the healthcare team to report on patient progress, coordinate care, and plan for successful discharge.
- Assist in training nursing staff and restorative aides.
- Provide education to patients and families on therapeutic techniques and equipment usage.
- Participate in department maintenance and report equipment issues to ensure a safe and effective working environment.
Qualifications:
- A current and valid Occupational Therapist Assistant license.
- Proven ability to work effectively as part of a healthcare team.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
