Location: Willow Springs Healthcare Center
Pay: From $38 per hour +

Position Summary

Willow Springs Healthcare Center is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) or Registered Nurse (RN) to lead our Infection Prevention and Control Program (IPCP). This role is critical to maintaining a safe, sanitary, and comfortable environment for residents, staff, and visitors. The Infection Prevention LVN/RN will coordinate and oversee all infection control activities in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and monitor infection prevention policies and procedures.
  • Conduct facility-wide surveillance and data analysis to identify trends and risks.
  • Lead outbreak management and antibiotic stewardship initiatives.
  • Provide staff education and training on infection control protocols.
  • Collaborate with the Infection Control Committee and report findings regularly.
  • Ensure compliance with CDC, CMS, and OSHA standards.

Qualifications

  • Current LVN or RN license in the state of California.
  • Certification in Infection Control (preferred).
  • Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in long-term care or acute care settings.
  • Strong understanding of infection control regulations and best practices.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
