As the Director of Nursing at Medical Hill Healthcare, you will be a vital member of our leadership team, overseeing all aspects of nursing operations. You will be instrumental in:
Leading and Mentoring: Provide strong leadership, guidance, and mentorship to our nursing staff, fostering their professional growth and ensuring the delivery of compassionate, high-quality care.
Developing and Implementing Policies: Develop, implement, and monitor nursing policies, procedures, and standards of care to ensure compliance with professional, regulatory, and accreditation requirements.
Ensuring Quality Care: Continuously assess and evaluate nursing care practices, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement strategies to achieve the highest standards of patient safety and satisfaction.
Staff Management: Participate in the recruitment, hiring, onboarding, training, and evaluation of nursing staff, ensuring adequate and appropriate staffing levels for all shifts.
Interdepartmental Collaboration: Foster effective communication and collaboration with physicians, residents, families, and other departments to ensure seamless and coordinated care.
Budget Management: Contribute to fiscal responsibility by overseeing the nursing department budget, managing expenses, and optimizing resource allocation.

Qualifications
Valid Registered Nurse (RN) License in California
1+ year of Director of Nursing (DON) experience, preferably in a skilled nursing setting
Proven experience in a skilled nursing facility
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
Commitment to patient-centered care and continuous quality improvement
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment and motivate others
