Occupational Therapist (OT) – Colonial Vista Post Acute, Wenatchee, WA

Pay: $45–$55 per hour (DOE)

We’re looking for a talented and compassionate Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our dynamic rehab team and help residents reach their highest level of independence and quality of life.

General Purpose

The Occupational Therapist evaluates and treats patients, communicates with families, physicians, and the care team, and maintains clear documentation of all services. The OT also provides staff training and contributes to the overall success of our rehabilitation programs.

Essential Duties

• Evaluate and treat patients according to physician referrals and individualized care plans
• Develop and update treatment goals to promote independence in daily living skills
• Supervise Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) and assist in training Restorative Aides
• Participate in care conferences, staff in-services, and discharge planning
• Document evaluations, treatment notes, and progress reports in compliance with all regulations
• Recommend adaptive equipment and train patients and caregivers in its use
• Foster positive relationships with patients, families, and staff

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy
• Current Washington State OT license (or eligibility)
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Experience in skilled nursing or post-acute rehab preferred
• Proficient with documentation software (Casamba, PointClickCare)
