General Summary of Position Responsibility: 

Accounts for all aspects of videoconferencing and online streaming services such as Teams and Zoom which includes setup and maintenance of related equipment, maintenance of online streaming platforms, updating all necessary software as needed, interacting with hospital staff and outside sites to ensure seamless live stream sessions.  This position will also be responsible for providing support for all medical and administrative meetings as needed.

Essential Job Functions:

• Accounts for all Teams and Zoom live stream meetings, hardware/software in Conference rooms at Lurie Children's and at remote locations.

• Provides live event support, ensuring smooth delivery of presentations, and hybrid meetings.

• Troubleshoot and diagnose basic AV and IT-related technical issues. Occasionally provides AV technical setup and support for offsite events. Manages, maintains and updates Teams and Zoom online catalogue of recorded meetings.

• Provides instruction and training to medical center staff on the use of conference room equipment and streaming services.

• Lead the setup, testing, and operation of AV equipment, including projectors, displays, microphones, speakers, cameras, and control systems.

• Performs job functions adhering to service principles with customer service focus of innovation, service excellence and teamwork to provide the highest quality care and service to our patients, families, co-workers and others.

• Create how-to-documents to assist in using technology in the conference rooms. 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field. An equivalent combination of education and/or or experience may be considered in lieu of the degree when the experience has been directly related to the functions of the job.

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in audio visual support.

• Advanced IT/computer skills.   

• Must be proficient in Microsoft Teams and Zoom.

• Must be proficient with both Windows and Mac platforms.

• Possess working knowledge of integrating video and audio with online streaming services.

• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Pay Range

$26.25-$42.92 Hourly
