Compensation:
$120,000 - $140,000 per year. You are eligible for a Short-Term Incentive Plan with the target at 7.5% of your annual earnings; terms and conditions apply.


Senior Project Manager, COPD – Remote US
The Sr. Project Manager is responsible for leading the achievement of multiple, complex projects maintaining project objectives and completion on time, on budget, and in conformance to Ambry Genetics’ project management methodologies and standards for all projects. The Sr. Project Manager works independently, under general direction of Program Manager, assuming primary responsibility for planning, directing, coordinating and delivering project activities through the entire project life cycle. This role will have the opportunity to manage projects across the business. The Project Manager will be part of the Project Management Organization (PMO) at Ambry Genetics.
Essential Functions
Lead project teams of moderate and complex projects
Prepare project plans, financial analysis, schedules, and budgets by using project management tools and, by working with appropriate staff, understand tasks necessary to complete a project
Communicate project status by preparing standard status reports / meeting minutes, and by participating in PMO and customer project status update meetings
Resolve project issues by working with internal and external team members, project customers, and others as appropriate
Influence middle management on technical or business solutions
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
5+ years of experience in project management (biotech preferred)
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
Experience in scheduling tools such as Smartsheet, Excel Gantt, or MS Project
Experience with an enterprise project manager tool such as Confluence, Project Online, Clarity
Experience with product development, assay development, assay validation highly desired
Demonstrated success working with a team. Must be able to influence without authority
Demonstrated knowledge of operational/logistical aspects of lab settings or an equivalent regulated environment
Wide application of technical principles, practices, and procedures
Strong understanding of business unit function and cross group dependencies/relationships
Preferred
PMP Certification
