Job Description:
Job Duties: Candidate will provide technical support at a supervisor level for our IT environments on premise and in the cloud. Acting as a technical liaison between upper management and subordinate teammates and offer support to our clients. Developing and maintaining procedures and processes, creating documentation, and assisting clients and other information technology employees. Supervises one or more IT teams at the full performance analyst or developer equivalent level or higher and that are above the technician level. Performs personnel functions, including hiring, performance evaluation and disciplinary procedures. Develops and maintains sufficient staff, properly trained and with the right combination of technical skills. Other duties as assigned and within the scope of the classification.
Requirements / Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications: A bachelor’s degree or equivalent in computer science, information systems, mathematics, engineering or other related field and two years of experience in a related information technology discipline (network infrastructure, coding, systems or database); experience can be substituted for education on a year for year basis, one year of which as a project coordinator, leader, or supervisor.
Preferred Qualifications: A working knowledge of identity management, infrastructure, server environments, email, and application management.
Other: Regular and reliable attendance required.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
• Extensive knowledge of information technology theory, principles, and practices
• Advanced knowledge of computer hardware and software
• General knowledge of local and wide area network systems
• Knowledge of client/server network protocols and Internet/Intranet applications
• Skill in delivering responsive, quality customer service
• Ability to write clear and concise documentation of systems and procedures
• Ability to successfully apply information engineering techniques; ability to design a data centered information system; ability to effectively design and use relational databases; ability to effectively test and debug systems and programs
• Ability to accurately estimate time and cost requirements in project development and implementation
• Ability to read, understand, and apply information from technical manuals
• Ability to plan, organize, and meet schedules and time lines for assigned work
