The Boeing CompanyThe Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) organization is seeking a First-Line Flightline Manufacturing Operations Manager (Level K) to join our dynamic team in Berkley, MO.
The F-15 Program has an exciting opportunity to join the F-15 Manufacturing & Safety team on the flight ramp and ensure that our air vehicles are completed and pass certification for airworthiness by overseeing final component installation, systems operation functional testing, modification, maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, preflight and postflight checks, release for flight, and preparation for delivery. This role interfaces with flight crews, engineering, management, suppliers, and customers to meet product requirements and ensure customer acceptance.
Position Responsibilities:
First Line Leaders are expected to develop and execute project and process plans, implement policies and procedures and set operational goals. Acquire resources for projects and processes, provide technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements. Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports. Provide oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes. Manage, develop and motivate employees.
As a member of the Leadership team, you will continuously lead and develop the Manufacturing & Safety team for the F-15. A successful candidate will have strong interpersonal and coaching skills that will further enable our business unit to embrace and elevate BPS culture, driving a deep understanding of the BPS principles, standards, production health, and problem-solving models. This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.
Security Clearance & Export Control Requirements:
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience):
5 or more years of experience in Manufacturing Operations and/or flight ramp operations
1 or more years of experience implementing lean methodologies and productivity improvements.
5 or more years of experience working with or supporting military/commercial aircraft.
5 or more years of experience leading teams in a formal and/or informal leadership role
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Experience with F-15 platforms
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Experience manufacturing Execution Systems common image (MESci) experience.
Experience interfacing with senior and executive leadership
Shift:
Must have the ability to work any shift as needed

Position may require travel up to 10% of the time.

Pay range: $112,200 - $151,800
