Senior Computer Based Training Specialist

Engineering & Technology Innovation (E&TI) is seeking a Computer Based Training Specialist to join the Product Support Engineering, Functional Chief Engineer Office in Seattle, Washington

Position Responsibilities: 

  • Leads the development, support, and delivery of computer-based training courseware in accordance with applicable requirements and standards

  • Leads requirements gathering with subject matter experts, instructional designers and others

  • Creates or codes, tests and documents complex computer-based training and recommends updates to existing computer-based training elements to maintain currency of course materials

  • Provides advanced technical expertise on computer-based training courseware to internal and external customers and resolves complex challenges

  • Leads or oversees exploration and evaluation of new technologies in computer-based training to enhance courseware and the development process

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):   

  • This position must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements. To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee

  • 5+ years experience in Digital & Immersive Maintenance capabilities

  • 3+ years experience Virtual Reality (VR) and Extended Reality (xR) technologies

  • 3+ years of experience in the development and deployment of immersive solutions using advanced game engines such as Unreal Engine, creating tailored VR experiences that enhance user engagement and operational effectiveness

  • Capable to travel up to 25% of the time

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Associate’s degree or higher

  • 5+ years’ experience developing immersive technologies to ensure rigorous verification of airplane and system-level maintainability requirements

  • 5+ years’ experience using analytical, collaboration, communication and organizational skills

  • 3+ years fostering collaboration, driving best practices, and accelerating the adoption of cutting-edge immersive maintenance solutions enterprise-wide

Summary Pay Range: $170,850 - $231,150
