The Boeing CompanyBoeing South Carolina (BSC) is seeking a Mid-Level Supply Chain Management Analyst (Level 3) to join our 787 Fulfillment Midbody team in North Charleston, South Carolina.

In this role, you will play a vital part in supply chain performance, ensuring on-time delivery, and supporting production readiness across our programs.

Position Responsibilities:
Communicates and partners closely with various cross-functional teams, customers, engineering, manufacturing, operations, supplier management
Creates, tracks and manages purchase orders, material demands and shortages
Incorporates change and planning decisions to arrive at optimal solutions
Applies Supply Chain Management (SCM) methodologies to ensure coordination in the global supply chain. Analyzes complex material requirements
Verifies and incorporates Bills of Material/schedules into a production plan
Determines part number attributes. Initiates, coordinates and authorizes release of orders by evaluating system requirements and resource availability
Ensures on-time delivery
Documents and resolves order delinquencies
Reports schedule adherence issues
Develops and controls inventory plans
Optimizes inventory levels
Analyzes and dispositions excess inventories
Initiates audits
Develops and creates schedules for products and services
Assists in developing estimates and schedules for new business proposals. Implements and maintains process improvements by analyzing and establishing best practices for materials management to improve SCM performance. Works under general direction.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
5+ years of experience working in materials management, warehousing, supply chain, or a manufacturing environment
5+ years of experience managing and coordinating supply/demand imbalances
3+ years of experience with continuous process improvement initiatives
Experience managing external supplier partnerships
Willingness to work any shift based on business needs
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Bachelor's degree or higher
5+ years of experience with procurement systems including Electronic Resource Planning (ERPLN), Ariba, SAP or similar systems
5+ years of experience with Microsoft Excel
Experience with ETRAC or other demand shortage tracking systems; Shipside Action Tracker (SAT) or other emergent demand callboard systems, and/or Velocity system
Experience in commercial aerospace manufacturing, customer support, business operations or related fields

Summary Pay Range: $85,850 - $116,150
