The Boeing CompanyBoeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is currently seeking a Business Operations Specialist (Level 5) to join the Fabrication Strategy Team in Auburn, Washington.
The Business Operations Specialist on the Fabrication Strategy Team will drive the Fabrication Strategy through collaboration and integration with Fabrication Capabilities, Global Supply Chain, Product Development and other functional partners. This role partners closely with Fabrication executive leadership to define strategic priorities, develop business cases, make recommendations, support project integration, execution and visibility.
This role requires effective communication, influence, and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively across teams and functions. The ideal candidate works well independently with people across organizations with varying backgrounds and experience and will have a proven track record of successfully managing and integrating projects from initiation through completion.
Position Responsibilities:
Partner with senior leadership to define strategic priorities, coordinate or develop business cases, and support execution of strategic projects
Coordinate with cross-functional teams (engineering, operations, finance, sales, legal) to align on strategy execution and remove roadblocks
Follow rules, guidelines and best practices for establishing and managing Coded Projects
Collaborate across Fabrication Capabilities, Global Supply Chain, Product Development and other functional partners to develop and deploy strategies to achieve business objectives
Coordinate business case development by partnering with other functions
Organize, maintain and communicate the Fabrication Leadership Team Strategy Operating Rhythm
Develop visibility of the future business environment, opportunities and key projects
Basic Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in project or program management
5+ years working cross-functionally and collaborating on strategic projects
5+ years of experience managing multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks, and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
5+ years of experience with Microsoft Office applications
5+ developing executive presentations and presenting to senior executives
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
5+ years of experience in strategic planning, corporate strategy, or supply chain strategy
10+ years of experience in strategic planning, corporate strategy, or supply chain strategy; aerospace or manufacturing industry is a plus
Experience applying analytical skills, performing analysis and scenario modeling
Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Finance or a related field
Familiarity with data analysis tools and methodologies to support strategic recommendations
Strong leadership and project management skills with a track record of building and leading teams in a cross-functional environment
Ability to navigate complex organizational structures and influence stakeholders at all levels
