The Boeing Test & Evaluation Business Operations team is hiring a Senior Project Management Specialist to join our team in Ridley Park, PA. This position will support the E-7 UK Test Program Manager and test team in executing program management best practices and functional performance and reporting. The successful candidate will demonstrate knowledge and application of program management best practices and program planning and control.

We are seeking candidates who are detail-oriented, possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, and demonstrate effective problem-solving abilities. The ideal candidate will be able to manage tasks with accuracy and collaborate clearly and professionally with team members at all levels.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Assists in the integration and analysis of programs, plans, strategies and processes to meet business goals for authorization, including supporting management of cost, schedule, and technical elements of the work

  • Maintain compliance with earned value management system work scope

  • Supports the coordination and clarifies the analysis with business partners to validate results and determine scope to meet long range business goals and develop business case

  • Coordinates the commitments with internal and external organizations to fulfill strategies

  • Identifies risk and opportunity potential, develops mitigation planning and refines the business case

  • Provides implementation direction for work authorization

  • Collects, organizes and provides data according to established processes within the management system to maintain status of programs, customer and supplier commitments and compliance

  • Ensures follow up action for issue resolution

  • Develops solutions to complex problems that require ingenuity and innovation

  • Ensures solutions are consistent with organization objectives

  • Performs work with minimal direction and exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignment

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee

  • 5+ years of experience in Critical Path Methodology, analysis and reporting

  • 5+ years of experience in applying Earned Value Management (EVM) methodology and analysis

  • 5+ years’ experience developing and maintaining integrated resource-loaded project schedules, including the use of project management tools and software such as MS Project, Milestones, Primavera, Open Plan Professional, etc.

  • Willing and able to travel both domestically and internationally 50% of the time

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher

  • Experience with the Microsoft Excel application using: formulas, VLookups, pivot tables, charts, filters, and linking worksheets

Summary Pay Range for Senior Level (Level 4):  $126,650 – $171,350
