Behavioral Safety Team (Medical-Based Role)
Location: Liberty / Medical Units
Shift: Day/Evening Rotating
FLSA: Non‑Exempt
Position Summary
The Behavioral Health Facilitator (BHF) on the Behavioral Safety Team (BST) provides specialized behavioral health support to patients who are receiving medical treatment and present with a secondary behavioral health need. This hospital‑based role focuses on safety, behavioral assessment, crisis prevention and response, staff coaching, and coordination with interdisciplinary medical teams to support patients with complex behavioral, psychiatric, or developmental needs within medical settings.
