BxCHL program's home site at Montefiore is the Family Health Center. Students participate in a wide range of education and wellness programs for patients. For example, student volunteers help conduct or facilitate a weight loss class, yoga and dancing classes, as well as a free English class for patients. Students also help with clerical/administrative tasks such as printing and faxing. Other assignments may include patient navigation, connecting patients to resources in the community, and participating in health fairs at the Health Center.
