Job Summary

Performs selected tasks under the direction and supervision of surgeon or physician assistant, including, but not limited to obtaining patient history, vital signs, preparing examination and treatment areas, procedural assistance, various clerical tasks.
 

Qualifications

• High School or equivalent Required
• 1-3 years Prior medical assistant or phlebotomy experience Preferred
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
• Spanish as a second language a plus.
• BLS - American Heart Association Required
• Certification as a Medical Assistant within 1 Year
