Position Summary:

Hiring Salary Range: $51,934.60 - $57,128.06 depending on qualifications

Supervises EMS labs and ensure that all labs have adequate supplies at assigned campuses. Responsible for coordination and maintenance of all aspects of the emergency medical services labs.

Plans the repair, preventative maintenance, scheduling, and consulting services to ensure safe, effective performance of equipment and associated systems.

Job Duties:

• Supervises operation of appropriate EMS laboratories.

• Supervises and coordinates schedules of clinicals.

• Maintains equipment, to include Human Patient Simulators, in good working order.

• Liaison between the College and medical community concerning discipline specific training and workshops.

• Maintains records of student/class laboratory and equipment usage, including computers.

•Ensure vehicle readiness (ambulance and command car).

•Visit students during clinical experiences.

•Ensure appropriate lab skill documentation for students.

•Assist in preparation for State and CoAEMSP inspections.

• Reports to Dean of Health Sciences or appropriate program manager concerning lab operation and usage.

• Coordinates recommendations for laboratory budgets, supplies, and equipment

• Produces reports for the College and the Department of Education.

• Performs other similar and related duties as required.

Minimum Qualifications: Associates degree and three years prior related experience.
