Compensation Range:

$45,204.64 - $70,836.63

Position Summary:

Hiring Salary Range: $45,204.64 to $49,725.10 depending on qualifications. 

Responsible for the operations, scheduling, and assistance in all performance related activities in the designated visual and performing arts performance areas.

Job Duties:

  • Works with the Arts Director and other campus groups to set strategic priorities, operational policies, and guidelines for the performing arts spaces. This includes overseeing the budget and revenue.
  • Supervises and participates in the lighting, sound design, set placement, box office, and all other equipment needs for each production, including but not limited to planning meetings, load-in, set-up, technical rehearsals, performances, and strikes.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for performers, support staff, crew, faculty, and students during performances.
  • Responsible for identifying technical support needs, hiring, and making contractual arrangements.
  • Oversees and manages the master calendar and paperwork for all campus performance spaces.
  • Trains and supervises all event stage crew, faculty, staff, and students on all stage equipment for each performance. Facilitates all work calls, scheduling, production meetings, and job assignments.
  • Produces annual schedule for maintenance repairs/renovation of performance spaces.
  • Produces a periodic schedule for all planned/proposed major repairs, upgrades, and maintenance and works with facilities to ensure spaces are maintained and repaired quickly and efficiently.
  • Responsible for ensuring the performance spaces, related storage areas, and loading dock comply with State and Federal regulations.
  • Maintains all first aid kits and other safety equipment, enforcing the use of safety equipment for all activities in performance spaces.
  • Oversees scene shop and ensures all supplies and tools are regularly maintained and stocked.
  • Performs other similar and related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

Associate’s degree and three years of prior related work experience.
