Additional Job Description:
West Virginia University Rockefeller Neuroscience Institute and the Department of Neurology in the WVU School of Medicine are seeking a General Neurologist (ranks available: Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor).
The successful candidate will practice general neurology. Candidate must have an MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent and be eligible for state medical license. Successful candidate must have completed a neurology residency program and be board certified/eligible in neurology. All qualifications must be met by the time of appointment.
The Department of Neurology offers patients a full spectrum of innovative therapies for neurologic disease, including stroke, epilepsy, neuromuscular diseases, headache, immunology, and movement disorders. WVU is a Joint Commission approved Comprehensive Stroke Center and Level IV Epilepsy Center. Candidates will join an active team including neurologists, neuropathologists, and physical, occupational, and speech therapists for collaboration in the areas of patient care, research and education.
