MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR LICENSURE:
1. High school graduate or equivalent.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR LICENSURE:
1. Completion of a nurse’s aid training and competency program and have passed a required competency test approved by the WV State Health Department. (Per Federal Long Term Care Regulation
2. Medical Terminology course.
EXPERIENCE:
1. Previous clerical or secretarial position with the two years of typing preferred.
2. Previous experience with EPIC software.

4. Assist Certified Nursing Assistants with Patient Meal/Tray passes during the shift.
5. Demonstrates ability to communicate with physicians, departments, hospitals, the entire health care team; patients and families to receive and relay appropriate information in a timely, accurate and professional fashion.
6. Must have the ability to perform concentrated and complex mental activity.
7. Must have the ability to work successfully under highly stressful conditions with frequent interruptions, and must be capable of adapting to varying workloads and work assignments on a constant basis.
8. Must have the ability to make sound judgments and also be able to collaborate with other multi-disciplinary team members in an appropriate fashion.
9. Must have the ability to comprehend and perform oral and written instructions and procedures.
10. Must have strong communication skills, written and verbal.
11. Must have basic math skills.
12. Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and all shifts.
