Summary

The Pharmacy Technician will perform many pharmacy-related functions under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist and perform administrative functions of the department thatВ requiresВ professional judgment and extensive technical training.В 

Location: West Chester, OH
Schedule: Monday – Friday; 8:30am – 5:00pm (100% On-Site)
Pay Range: $22.50 - $26.00/hour (DOE)

Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesВ В

  • Prepares prescriptions for dispensing by the pharmacist and fills stock replacements.В 
  • Makes requisitions for drugs and supplies with professional guidance from the pharmacist.В 
  • Orders, receives, andВ maintainsВ inventory of drugs and chemicals, and ensures their security.В 
  • HelpsВ maintainВ an orderly, clean environment including cleanliness of pharmacy stock and supplies.В 
  • EntersВ data into the computer system, recording prescriptions, purchase orders, stock orders, requisitions, and disbursements.В 
  • Under direction of pharmacist, removes unneeded or outdated drugs from stock and prepares for return or disposal.В 
  • Performs general clerical duties for the department.В 
  • Perform other related duties as assigned or requestedВ

  • ​Successful completion of a pharmacy technician training course or a minimum of one year of on-the-job training.В
