Job Description

Summary

The Benefits Specialist assist with the day-to-day administration of Graham Health Group’s (GHG) group benefit programs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

include the following. Other duties may be assigned as necessary.

  • Monitor’s benefits group e-mail mailbox and responds to employees’ questions and concerns in a timely manner
  • Assists with annual benefits open enrollment
  • Prepares and updates documentation for benefits department policies and procedures
  • Maintains employee and group benefits databases
  • Ensures accuracy of third-party benefit vendor invoicing
  • Assists with management of GHG’s fleet vehicle program
  • Prepares analytical analysis on GHG’s fleet vehicle program including but not limited to analyzing monthly fleet vehicle invoicing and preparing quarterly vehicle mileage reporting
  • Performs other duties as assigned by management
  • Complies with GHG’s core values and core competencies

  • Associates or bachelor’s degree in human resources or Business Administration preferred
  • A minimum of two years’ experience with group benefit programs
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Organized, analytical and strong attention to detail
  • Technologically proficient

Must have and maintain in good standing professional license, certificate, or registration, as applicable.
